I have been asked by my friend to make these drawstring purses. Whats so unusual about them is that the bases are coconut shells!
My friend punches holes on the edge of the shell and I use my size 20 thread and crochet into it. So far I have made 16 of them . the latest I heard is that they are selling well :)

Amber , I am selling through a friend here in India . It sells for somewhere around Rs200 (Indian money). It costs a pittance when you convert to dollars but then I am getting 3 times the money I invest in thread:) It takes about one 20 gm ball of size 20 thread. Glad you like it. |
